Harvesting the Benefits

Every farmer knows that seeds are sown in one season and a harvest is reaped in another season.

This principle is true for many areas of our lives.  But for now, I want to talk about reaping the harvest of an organized home.

There are so many benefits to living clutter free.

  • Peace of mind
  • Improved focus
  • More creativity
  • Better sleep
  • Reduced stress
  • Improved relationships
  • Enhanced productivity

When time is invested in organizational living today, the above rewards are reaped tomorrow.

With each step taken towards clutter free living, there is the long-term reward of freedom of time and space.  For example, when our home is in order, we are free to be spontaneous. If a last-minute invitation is given for lunch with a friend, a bike ride, or a hike, there is nothing holding us back.

When the children feel creative and want to do a project, you can go for it and enjoy the moment!  You will know what supplies you have and where to find them.

One of the most beautiful and powerful blessings of order is being free to develop who you are personally.  If you want to grow in courage, you can.   Maybe you want to study a new subject?  Do you have a talent that you have longed to pursue?  This is your time!  Your home is in order, your mind is at peace and you are free to chase desires and dreams.

Know this, when you invest in your home today, you will reap a harvest later.  It always comes in a different season, but the rewards will be worth it!
